Post-Thanksgiving Group Hike

Burn off some of those calories from your Thanksgiving Day meal!  Join AORN of The San Francisco Bay Area for a group hike on Saturday, November 30th at 8:30am at Reinhardt Redwood Regional Park in Oakland.

Chapter President, Joy Chau, RN will lead the hike.

Length:  3 miles
Type: Out/back
Difficulty: easy, partially-paved trail (stroller-friendly)
Elevation gain: 180 feet

Family, friends, and leashed dogs are welcome! 

There are several different entrances to the park. You must use the entrance from Redwood Road (7867 Redwood Road, Oakland). 

The group will meet by 8:30am at the Stream Trail sign at the Canyon Meadow Staging Area/Parking Lot!

Parking is free. The Canyon Meadow parking lot is the last of 4 parking lots. If it's full, you can park at the smaller Crescent Lot or the larger Wayside Lot and follow the sidewalk to the Canyon Meadow Parking Lot.

A reminder to wear comfortable walking/hiking shoes and sunscreen. Dress in layers as most of the trail is shaded, and it can be cooler as we hike further into the park. Don't forget to bring some water too!

There is no cell service in the parking lot and throughout most of the trail.
