Join AORN of The San Francisco Bay Area for a group hike on Saturday, April 26th at 8:30am at Lake Del Valle in Livermore.

This is the same hike that was schedule for March but had to be canceled.

Take this a chance to meet and network with your colleagues as you enjoy the fresh air, the green hills and breathtaking panoramic views of Lake Del Valle.

Chapter President, Joy Chau, RN will lead the hike.

Length: 4.4 miles
Difficulty: Moderate  (Please note the difficulty and elevation gain and make sure it is to your ability!)                                                                                                                                     Elevation gain: 849 ft
Type: Loop

The group will meet at 8:30am near the restrooms of the Arroyo Del Valle Staging Area off of Arroyo Road in Livermore. Parking is free. 

Family, friends, and dogs are welcome!

A reminder to wear comfortable walking/hiking shoes, layers, and sunscreen. Don't forget to bring some water too!

Adverse Weather Rule:
If the forecast predicts a 50% or above chance for rain by the Thursday evening before the hike then the hike will be canceled. If it's below 50% then Joy will make the decision based on the trail conditions and the expected hourly likelihood of rain. A group text and email from Joy will be sent out either Friday evening or early Saturday morning to those registered to confirm cancellation.
