Join AORN of The San Francisco Bay Area for a group hike on Saturday, February 21st at 9am at Lands End Trail in San Francisco!
This is a chance to meet and network with your colleagues as you explore the historic Sutro Baths and enjoy the great views of the Golden Gate Bridge and the Pacific Ocean.
Chapter Co-Vice President, Joy Chau, RN will lead the hike on the Coastal and Camino Del Mar Trails from the Lands End Lookout Visitor Center.
Length: 3.4 miles
Difficulty: Moderate
Elevation gain: 538 ft. (Note, there are some steep stairs to climb up and down on the trail!)
Type: Loop
The group will meet at the Lands End Lookout Visitor Center. There is an adjacent parking lot. Parking is free.
Family, friends, and dogs (on leash) are welcome!
After the hike, consider joining other participants for a no-host brunch at the nearby Beach Chalet Brewery and Restaurant.

Adverse Weather Rule:
If the forecast predicts a 50% or above chance for rain by the Thursday before the hike then the hike will be canceled. If it's below 50% then Joy will make the decision based on the trail conditions and the expected hourly likelihood of rain. A group text and email from Joy will be sent out either Friday evening or early Saturday morning to those registered to confirm cancellation.
