Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Radiation Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Radiology Oncology team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, patient-centered environment that focuses on delivering high-quality, evidence-based oncology care. The ideal candidate will bring oncology nursing experience and a passion for supporting patients through their cancer treatment journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to patients undergoing radiation therapy for various cancers (including but not limited to breast, prostate, lung, brain, and head & neck cancers).
• Monitor, assess, and document patient response to treatment and intervene as necessary.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans, side effects, and post-treatment care in an understandable and empathetic manner.
• Collaborate with radiation oncologists, medical oncologists, and other members of the multidisciplinary care team.
• Manage treatment-related side effects, triage symptoms, and coordinate appropriate interventions.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the medical record.
• Support the clinical workflow and help optimize patient throughput.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with current CA licensure in good standing.
• Radiation Oncology experience is preferred; if not, 3+ years of Oncology RN experience is required.
