2020 Scholarships Announced

AORN of The San Francisco Bay Area Chapter is please to offer 3 different scholarships to active chapter members.

First Time CNOR- CRNFA Certification Scholarship

• Open to 2 applicants
• The scholarships will cover the cost of the certification exam fee
• To qualify, applicants must pass the CNOR and/or CRNFA exams within 12 months of the submission date and demonstrate active participation in AORN of The San Francisco Bay Area over the last 12 months, which will be determined using a point criteria system
• Application due April 30th

Medical Mission Volunteer Scholarship

• Open to two active chapter members who have volunteered on medical missions within the last 12 months of the submission due date
• Applicants must demonstrate active participation in AORN of The San Francisco Bay Area over the last 12 months
• Application due April 30th

Advanced Practice Degree Scholarship

• Open to two active chapter members who are enrolled in an advanced practice degree program to further their skills in the field of perioperative nursing or who have completed such a program within six months of the submission due date
• The scholarships amount to $1,000 each
  
• Applicants must demonstrate active participation in AORN of The San Francisco Bay Area over the last 12 months
• Application Due June 30th
